Privacy policy
VOID is a bedside clock that's still in development. This website exists to show it and to let you join an early-access list. We collect as little as we can, and this page explains all of it.
Who we are
This website is run by Adrian Luca, based in Moldova, under the name VOID ("we", "us"). Adrian is responsible for the personal data described on this page. If you have a question about your data or want to use any of the rights below, email privacy@voidclock.com.
If you join the early-access list
When you submit the early-access form, we receive:
- your email address
- the finish you picked, if any
- the version of the page and the price you were shown (we're testing different ways of describing VOID)
-
the campaign tags in the link you arrived from, if any, such as
utm_sourceor Meta'sfbclidclick ID - the address of the page you landed on and the time you signed up
We use your email for one thing: to tell you when preorders open. We use the other details to understand which ads and page versions people respond to. We won't add you to a newsletter or share your email with anyone else for their own use. Our legal basis is your consent, which you give by submitting the form.
The list is stored in a Google Sheet in our Google account. We keep your details until we've told you preorders are open, or until you ask us to remove them, whichever comes first.
To stop people flooding the form, our server briefly keeps your IP address in memory to limit how many times it can be submitted. It isn't written to the list or kept anywhere else.
Analytics, only if you allow it
On your first visit we ask whether you allow analytics. If you decline or don't answer, no analytics scripts load and no analytics cookies are set.
If you accept, we load two services:
- Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd), so we can measure how our Facebook and Instagram ads perform. Meta's policy
- Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd), so we can see how people use the page. Google's policy
They record page views, clicks on the buy buttons, and successful
sign-ups, along with the page version, price and finish involved. They
don't receive your email address from us. Both services set their own
cookies (such as _fbp and _ga) and may process
data outside the EU under their own safeguards.
You can change your mind at any time with Privacy choices, which is also at the bottom of every page on this site.
What we store in your browser
-
void_analytics_consent_v1(local storage) remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics, so we don't ask again. -
void_attribution_v1(session storage) holds the campaign tags from the link you arrived from until you close the tab, so they're included if you sign up.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. Like any web host, Vercel processes technical request data, such as your IP address and browser type, to serve the site and keep it secure. Vercel's policy
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. You can also withdraw your consent at any time, and object to or restrict how we use your data. Email privacy@voidclock.com and we'll reply within one month. If you're unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live.
We don't sell your data, we don't take payments on this site, and we don't knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If we change how we handle your data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
